The New Jersey Cable Telecommunications Association
The New Jersey Cable Telecommunications Association (NJCTA) is a voluntary trade organization, founded in 1965, and headquartered in Trenton across from the Statehouse. NJCTA was originally known as the New Jersey Cable Television Association, but the name was changed as our member companies expanded their innovative offerings beyond the original, analog version of cable television to include digital and high-definition video programming, digital voice, and high-speed, broadband Internet.
NJCTA’s mission is to help create a business environment that enables its member companies to invest in New Jersey communities, provide the best and most innovative service, technology, and programming for their customers, and connect friends, families, and businesses in the state of New Jersey.
NJCTA works to achieve this through legislative and regulatory advocacy, media outreach, alliance-building, and community relations activities.
NJCTA member companies serve 2.5 million customer households in New Jersey and offer service to 96% of all homes in the state.
