Over the past 25 years, NJCTA member companies have built and upgraded more than 40,000 miles of advanced broadband infrastructure.
Put another way, we've laid enough cable and fiber in the state to circle the earth one and a half times.
This allows us to make cable services available to more than 96 percent of all the homes in New Jersey. And to serve 2.5 million households throughout the state.
It also allows us to offer more advanced services to more of the state than anywhere else in the country. According to an industry report, New Jersey leads the nation in broadband penetration, with nearly half the state using broadband service. That's more than 15 percent higher than the national average.
